Skillet Pork Chops And Rice
- 6 pork chops
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup raw rice
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
Season chops with salt and pepper and brown in skillet. Sprinkle rice around chops. Combine boiling water and soup. Pour over chops and rice. Cover skillet, reduce heat, and simmer until rice is tender and chops are not pink, approximately 45 minutes. Serves 4-6.
