Cabbage Tomato Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 can V-8 juice
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups frozen green beans
  • 4 bay leaves
  • Ad
  • 4 oz. sliced onion
  • 6 ribs celery, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 4 medium carrots, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in kettle. Heat until almost boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaves. Serve hot. 6-8 servings.
