Egg Custard Pie
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups milk
- pie shell, baked 5 minutes
Beat eggs and blend in sugar and salt. Scald milk and pur over egg mixture, stirring constantly. Add nutmeg and vanilla. Pour in pie shell, which has been baked 5 minutes. Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake 30 minutes longer or until custard is set.

This sounds like a good recipe for a graham cracker crust that I bought. Would it still have to be baked 5 minutes before filling?
