Swiss Oven Hashbrowns
This dish is a constant request at family dinners.
- 1 bag frozen hashbrowns
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 cups half and half
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
Combine all ingredients and bake in greased 9x13 inch pan 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Let set a few minutes before serving, warms up wonderful.
I substitute other cheeses if I don't have enough Swiss but much prefer the Swiss. You can use table cream but it won't reheat as well as it separates some.
