Apple Blossom Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 can sliced pie apples (NOT apple pie filling)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Sift flour, salt, spices and soda together. Blend well the sugar, eggs, oil and dry ingredients. Add apples, vanilla and pecans. Mix well. Bake in a greased tube pan at 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
