Adding a Hitch to a Mobile Home |

Does anyone know if you can put the hitch on the opposite end of a mobile home to move it a short distance? We need to back our manufactured home down the hill on our farm, but since we have graded the road in front where the hitch is located, it is impossible to get a moving truck up to the hitch.

use a small mobile cat - hitch cannot be moved to rear - more expensive option would be to lift house, unbolt frame, rotate frame and re-bolt.
