I had a handy man put up two picket gates and some fencing about a year ago. The pickets are falling off. I have used liquid nails and it lasted for a while but now they are falling off again. The handy man is long gone. Also how do you get liquid nails off the white vinyl? What a mess!

Thanks
Liz from Jersey

I was able to pull liquid adhesive (liquid nails) off my flooring with my thumbnail. Took forever, but at least it didn't scratch. You should also test to see if a plastic scraper or something else stiff and plastic will scratch the vinyl, and then go to it with that. Finally, check to see if the type of adhesive you used is rated for wet areas and if it isn't, drench the fence (put a soaked rag on top of the picket or directly on the adhesive and let it drip all day, rather than trying to spray and wasting gallons of water) and see if the glue softens at all.

Good luck. Sounds like a big job.
