Removing Graphite Stains from Carpet

How do you remove a graphite grease stain from a 100% all wool carpet? I have tried 2 cleaners. The graphite stain has gone, but carpet is now shaded.

Removing Graphite Stains from Carpet

How do I get graphite powder stains out of my beige carpet? Graphite is like powdered oil.

Thanks.

Here is a stain guide: www.thetechnicalcenter.com/Stains/Carpet/Graphite.cfm Be sure to notice what it says about the alcohol and the backing of your carpet, third paragraph. (01/08/2011)

RE: Removing Graphite Stains from Carpet

I was reading on this page: www.oes.org/page2/4138~pee_stains_on_my_carpet.html and it was mentioned a little more than half way down the page that 3M carpet cleaner cleaned graphite from the woman's carpet. (01/08/2011)
