When washing dishes and you have too many suds in the sink after draining wash water, instead of using so much water to wash them down the drain, sprinkle salt on the suds and they just disappear. It really works, hope you try it.

THANKS MARY AND LYNDA........LYNDA, YES, JUST A SMALL SPRINKLE OF SALT ON THE SUDS WILL MAKE THEM JUST GO AWAY, JUST LIKE THAT.....YOU WOULD HAVE ALREADY RINSED THE DISHES BEFORE SPRINKLING THE SALT AND PUT THEM IN THE DISH DRAIN......SO NO RESIDUE ON THE DISHES.........THIS WOULD WORK FOR ANY "SUDDSY" SITUATION, OF COURSE....THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT....HAVE A GOOD DAY........SHERRY

Didn't the salt leave a residue on your handwashed dishes? Or are you talking about just a SMALL amount of sprinkled salt? I haven't had this problem in many years, but I can see where it would be a GREAT solution in case of overflowing bubbles in ANY case. Thank you and God bless you for the tip.

Great idea, never thought of it, but it makes sense!
