I got a large drop of wood glue on a wood floor. Any ideas on how to remove it?

most wood glues i've used were water based. with some, you can try placing a warm wet cloth on the glob and let it sit, (if you are nervous about water damage if your floor doesn't have a good sealant, put down some plastic wrap to cover the floor surrounding the glob) after maybe an hour, try gently scraping the glue with a plastic spoon or something soft like that. if it's at all sticky or gummy or you get anything, just keep at it. you should be able to get the glue off with no damage to the floor. good luck!!
