Cornflake Candy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup white Karo syrup
  • 5 cups corn flakes
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 2 cups salted peanuts

Directions

Bring to boil first 3 ingredients, stirring constantly until small amount forms hard ball (260 degrees F) in cold water. Pour over cereal and nuts. Mix well and spoon into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Pat into pan. Cut before completely cool.
