There is a bad odor in my freezer. I have emptied the ice maker, and have checked all of the packages, but cannot find the source. The regrigerator is only a couple of years old. Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks so much for the newsletter, I really enjoy reading it every day.

Peggy

Check the water line for the ice maker. These need to be cleaned or replaced occasionally.

Try checking the fridge too! I found a "science experiment" on the top shelf of the fridge that was causing an awful smell in the freezer (our's is a freezer on top model) I would also empty the drip tray under the fridge that collects some yucky smells too! If all else fails I'd get out the cooler and empty everything out, turn it off and clean the entire interior surface with vinegar.

Good luck to you!
