Candied Pecans

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Directions

Beat egg white and water till frothy. Toss in pecans. Sprinkle sugar on pecans. Stir until well coated. Bake at 250 degrees on a cookie sheet about 45 minutes. Stir and turn pecans every 15 minutes. Store in a tightly covered tin or jar.

Yes, toss in pecans in the frothy egg white mixture & then the sugar and stir till well mixed. Hope this works for you.

Terri,
please help me here I tried this once before and made a huge MESS. When you toss in pecans do
you toss all pecans in the frothy mix and then add
sugar and toss with wooden spoon? I tried same
recipe or similar and just made a mess and I have
pecans in freezer and my husb would love these.
