Hummingbird Feeder Leaks

I bought this beautiful glass hummingbird feeder, it has a tube with a cork. When I make my sugar water and then plug the tube in, it drips the water out from the hole in the bottom of the tube until all the sugar water is gone. What am I doing wrong?
