Joy is the exact word. He's not a really snuggle dog. His times that he wants to snuggle are only when he is sleepy or spooked by something. But he always wants to play. He hasn't really lost that puppy-ness. Like you, I can't imagine our house without him.

What a sweet little dog! We also have a "cairnhuahua" that we found on craigslist. We love our little Foxiianna (she's a brindle) and her personality is like you described, high energy, and is spooked somewhat easily. I can't imagine our family without her. She's such a joy! Foxii weighs 12 lbs. and is our little babe.

He has the energy of a terrier combined with the sensitivity and the getting easily spooked of a chihuahua. He's a wild one.

What a cutie! He looks similar to my Lily, who is a long-hair chihuahua mix (we believe mixed with some kind of terrier). Does he have more of the terrier personality, or the chihuahua personality?
