We always start on the internet to see what is available and get an idea of prices, narrow down our selection. Then we go to the store to see the item in person and save the shipping. We just bought a TV from Best Buy this way, and because we matched the model number from the online sale price, we knew the in-store "sale" was $300 more than online. We told the salesman, he looked it up, and gave us the cheaper price as found online. It pays to know!
