Underarm odor can be embarrassing for anyone, but if you have trouble getting rid of it, that can be even worse. There are many ways to control underarm odor, find the one that works for you. This is a guide about preventing underarm odor.
Do you have terrible underarm odor? I did! It's not all in your mind either. The medical name for it is Bromhidrosis. To my knowledge the only cure is to have your glands taken out via surgery, ooch! But I think that I found a "solution" to underarm odor.
My underarm odor combat technique is very simple and please don't think that I'm crazy, because I'm not. Even if you don't have Bromhidrosis, give it a try anyway. Just try it and let me know what you think afterwards. Steps 2-6 can also be done at work if you have a private bathroom that you can use, because that's how I made my discovery.
After the above steps are done, your armpits will feel dry to the touch and I promise you that you will not "stink" for the rest of the day!
You may still sweat but I normally take a tissue and just pat the sweat dry. If you do start to smell, just repeat the above steps and I promise you that the smell will leave. Do the above steps before bedtime and you will wake up odor free! And the best thing is that you'll regain your confidence and no more "sniffing" co-workers when they pass you.
Note: Remember to only wear cotton shirts and or blouses. Stay away from polyester at all cost!
Good Luck Everyone!

I've tried everything for my underarm odor, to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried baking soda, lime, and lemon juice. This problem is very embarrassing and its starting to make me feel depressed!

Chlorophyll helps me too. I like the liquid with mint flavor (and no copper which gives it a nasty taste). A swig every morning usually lasts all day. I also notice I don't smell as bad (before the chlorophyll) if I remember to drink more water and eat a lot more fresh fruits and veggies.
I hope someone can help me. I have a 6 year old daughter who has recently started to have a bad underarm odor. What can I do? I have thought about using a deodorant but I am afraid she is too young?

I would call or take her to her pediatrician. Six seems awful young to be having underarm odor.
Does anyone have underarm odor that doesn't seem to go away? No matter how may times you shower/bathe, and no matter how many different deodorants you use?

Try coconut oil. Go to a health food store or order online. I know it sounds crazy, but it works. It has antibacterial properties. Put a little bit right under your arm pits. (don't worry, it's not overly greasy). It really and truly works.
I'm a 35 year old female with excessive sweat and odor under my arms. I have tried most deodorants including the clinical strength. I just don't know what to do, nothing seems to help. Hope you can help me.

Go to health food store or supplement store and buy liquid chlorophyll and follow the directions on the bottle.
Drinking this in water or juice will make you smell better from the inside out.
I shower everyday and use deodorant, but the odor is still there. What should I do to remove the odor? Please help me.

Hi!
Do you have terrible underarm odor? I did! It's not all in your mind either!! The medical name for it is Bromhidrosis and to my knowledge the only cure is to have your glands taken out via surgery, ouch! I think that I found a "solution" to underarm odor! 1. I shave each armpit. I use hair conditioner to shave to make the hairs softer and it also saves my skin from razor burn.
2. I then wash my underarms with Neutrogena Body Clear (you can use any type of Antibacterial soap) and pat dry.
3. Next I take (2) a Lipton Tea Bags (Regular) (yes, tea bags!) and run them under warm water for a few seconds and gently squeeze them just long enough to moistened them
4. I then take one of the tea bags and heavily scrub my entire armpit with it. The tea will exfoliate your skin. Repeat the step under your second armpit with the tea bag. You're going to make a mess, but trust me, itll be worth it!
5. *Be sure to get all of the tea off of your skin with a wet cool towel so it doesn't mess up your shirt and or blouse.
6. After you are done, gently pat your armpits dry and go on about your day!
After the above steps are done, your armpits will feel dry to the touch and I promise you that you will not 'stink' for the rest of the day! You may still sweat but I normally take a tissue and just pat the sweat dry. If you do start to smell, just repeat the above steps and I promise you that the smell will leave!
