Crunch Top Ham and Potato Casserole

This is a very tasty casserole that is also very versatile. Though the recipe calls for corn flakes, I like to use potato chips as well and it's also nice to make it a one-dish meal by adding veggies of your choice.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. southern style hash browns, thawed
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups cubed ham
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion

Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes

Directions:

Combine together the first 7 ingredients very well and place in 9x13 glass casserole dish. Combine last 3 ingredients for topping and sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour 10 minutes.

Prep Time: 15-20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 70 Minutes
