Lentil Soup (Crock Pot)
- 1 lb. Lentils soaked and rinsed
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 1/4 tsp. Pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 2 or 3 Ham Hocks or 1 large Ham Bone
In 6 qt. cooker, add above ingredients. Cover with 8-10 cups of water. Cook on low heat for 5-6 hours. Remove meat from bones and stir back into soup. Discard bay leaf. Serve.

You can add andouille sausage or chorizo to add a little BAM to the taste!
