Extra Skin After Dog's Cherry Eye is Removed

My chihuahua has had his cherry eye removed but he still has the skin all in the corner of his eye. The nurse said it was just swelling, is this normal?

How long has it been since the surgery? Some swelling for some time is normal. You vet should welcome a follow-up visit if you have questions about this. Just call and tell the receptionist you want the DOCTOR to take a look at it because you're concerned. It won't take but a minute for your vet to reassure you and he/she should be more than willing to do this.
