I just used a guesstamate as to proportions, but I'd say 2/3 sugar to 1/3 oil and soap. When I mixed it together, it had a creamy consistancy. Hope this helps. My daughter in law is here visiting and I showed it to her and she launched into a dissertation about the healing and cleansing properties of brown sugar, none of which I knew. She has a salon/spa and they use brown sugar for cleansing feet.
