Fried Stuffed Olives
- 1 lb stuffed olives (I like almond, feta or jalapeno stuffed)
- 1/4 cup of plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup tempura batter mix
- 2/3 cup of vegetable oil to fry
Blot the olives on paper towels to remove some of the oil from the olives. Roll the olives in flour, then dip them into the beaten eggs, and finally gently roll them in the tempura batter mix.
Fry them in hot vegetable oil until they are golden. Place on a paper towel to drain. Serve hot.
