Keeping Pies from Spilling Over

If you have trouble with pies going over while they bake and making a big mess in your oven all you have to do is sprinkle a little powdered lemon-flavored gelatin on the top crust. It helps it not to bubble over that way.

Another good thing to help with pies that over spill while baking, u can put tin foil on the rack below pies, this prevents the pie filling going onto the burner.

Also, do not fill the pie too full with pie filling. Also, you could add a bit of butter in a few places scattered on top of the pie filling before you put the crust on. Just a few more suggestions.
