Bar-B-Que Beef


  • 5 lb. round steak
  • 3/4 tsp. Tabasco
  • 3/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Ad
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 5 oz. horseradish
  • 6 cups cold water


Combine all ingredients, except meat, and boil for 10 minutes. Pour over meat in roasting pan. Bake 1 hour at 400 degrees F, basting occasionally. Turn down to 350 degrees F and bake for 5-7 hours, covered. Pull apart with fork. Serve on buns. Serves 36.
