Praline Sundae Topping

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • Dash salt
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Ice cream

Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add brown sugar, marshmallows, corn syrup, and salt. Cook and stir over low heat until marshmallows are melted and mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from the heat; cool for 5 minutes. Stir in milk, pecans and vanilla; mix well. Serve over ice cream. Store in fridge.

My sister made up several batches of something like this recipe & gave to co-workers for Christmas gifts. She said they were readily accepted!!
