Use Your Cereal Boxes For Patterns

Before throwing out that cereal box consider saving the pieces to uses as patterns for quilt pieces, purse patterns, etc. Simply cut away the 2 large front and back pieces and save in a Ziploc bag. Next time you need to cut out a pattern, lay it over the cardboard and cut it out of that instead. Much more sturdy and keeps down the trash.

I also use the front/back of cereal boxes for mailing photos. It helps keep the mailer from getting bent and damaging the photos.

I have used them for patterns for making homemade cards. When you make a pattern once on the cardboard, save it and it stays usuable again and again. Also can be used, the cereal boxes large size for sorting things for Sunday school and etc. Stack and glue them together or each child have his own if they want they can cover the box and just leave the top open and each week they are ready to go.
