Christmas Craft Ideas

I'm looking for christmas gifts to make for my Sunday School ladies. We're middle aged and want to make something for each of them.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Sharlin from Topsy

Try using baby food jars to make Christmas trees. Four for the bottom row glued together then 3, 2, and then one, Glue them together with a very good glue from the craft store. Because as they heat the glue will release them if you do not use the right glue. While drying punch holes in the lids to put the Christmas lights in. It is little tricky to get them in so don't use big strings of them. We put potpourri in them and when they are lite they smell so good. We give them as gifts too at the holidays and people just love them. You can paint the lids but i think best not too.

Sharlin, there are so many things out there that you can make. What are the talents of each woman? What kinds of things do they like. Some people can't tolerate certain smells ect so you really need to know what ever one can use. If you would like to email me you can. I will find some links for you. I just made two ornaments from old cd's...you would never knew they were cd's.

If anyone in your group sews, they can make little sachets to be given as gifts. Just purchase a quantity of popouri and fill individual squares of material. Lace can be added to make them prettier, or leave them plain. sewingmamma
