How about using Corona Beer bottles for salt n' pepper shakers, just punch holes in the caps! Set the shakers on the tables to use! I did it with Jack Daniels sauce bottles for a western BBQ.

I would get some "fake" cheesburgers that come with kids "pretend" food and hang them on fake palm trees...also you need some Margaritas and flip flops..i.e. Margaritaville, would help to add to the theme.

Wow! This sounds really fun! Have everyone come in their hawaiian shirts, of course. Pineapples (real or paper), little paper umbrellas for the drinks, leis, limbo dancing, lots of fruity drinks, margaritas, lots of bright colors. I would go to the discount paper mart or super-center and pick up colorful paper plates, napkins, and leis. Right now is a good time to pick up discounted picnic stuff. I bought some bright turquoise and pink margarita glasses for 50 cents each and the matching pitcher for $1.50.
Don't over-think it, just pick up a few festive things and have fun! Your attitude as host, not the decorations, will make this a festive, fun, memorable party.

When I think of "Cheeseburger in Paradise" or Jimmy Buffett, I think Hawaiian shirts and leis. Big, bright, and floral. Check your local party store for Hawaiian-themed decorations...I think they're in stock year-round. I'd stick more to the "Paradise" part than the "Cheeseburger" part. However, if you want the cheeseburgers to be included (as more than just dinner, as I assume that's what you'll be eating!), you could have small bowls of those cheeseburger gummy candies on the tables.
