Strawberry Bread I

Ingredients

  • 3 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 3 eggs (beaten)
  • 2 cartons sliced frozen strawberries (thawed)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and sugar; set aside. Mix together the beaten eggs, oil and strawberries; add to dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean. Remove from pans immediately after cool. Makes 2 loaves.

Strawberry Bread II

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup nuts (opt.)
  • 2 pkgs. frozen strawberries or 4 cup fresh

Directions:

Beat eggs and oil. Add dry ingredients. Mix together. Add strawberries and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Makes 2 loaf pans.

Strawberry Bread III

Ingredients

Sift together:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 tsp. Cinnamon

Mix together:

  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 (10 oz.) packages. Frozen strawberries, thawed

Directions

DO NOT DRAIN BERRIES. Beat with a mixer. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture, plus 1 - 1/4 cups chopped nuts (if you wish). Mix well. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour, or until done after checking with toothpick.
