If you're not choosy about what cheeses you have on your sandwich, salad, etc. White cheeses have less fat in them than yellow cheeses. I was told this by a nurse.

Not true. Cheeses ARE NOT naturally yellow. Cheddar is colored yellow. It is naturally white. A cheese may be creamy colored, or it may have colored veining, but unless that yellow food coloring is really fatty, this is incorrect.

I'm also a nurse.....and always trying to loose a few pounds! Alpine Lace makes a good low-fat cheese, and the Laughing Cow Lite cheese wedges are also a healthy choice. I personally love the cheese wedges.
