Freshening A Musty Mattress
I live on the foggy coast of Maine and have a hide-a-bed which is over 20 years old but recently re-upholstered. The mattress smells musty and I would like to know how to freshen it without using chemicles as I have allergies.

I had the same problem and sprinkled a generous amount of baking soda on the matress and folded it back up for a week or so,,,then i just vaccuumed it all up and its nice now.
