You can use old CD's to make wall 'paintings'. Just need a painter's canvas (cheap), latex or acrlylic paint for base color and dimensional paint to decor CD with geometric figures (the best,I think), specially the mandala type. Spray-warnish to finish. They light up any darker corner (eg. between doors, corridor)
