Using Laminate Flooring in Unheated Space

Is a wood laminate floor suitable for my cabin that is unheated most of the year? If not, is any type of wood floor suitable?

As long as it's properly laid I don't see why it would be a problem even in sub degree weather unless you get a major water leak on it and the water does a freeze and thaw.
