Poppy Cheese Bread
Ingredients
3 3/4 cups buttermilk baking mix
1 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1 egg
1 1/2 cups milk
additional poppy seeds for topping
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, combine baking mix, cheese and 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds. In small bowl, whisk egg and milk. Add to dry ingredients; mix well. Spoon batter into well-greased 9x5 inch loaf pan; sprinkle with additional poppy seeds. Bake 50-60 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove bread from pan to wire rack; cool completely.

Robin, thanks for all your wonderful recipes. I have tried many of them and copied most of them into Word Documents. As for the Cheese Bread, I'm not sure what you mean by "buttermilk baking mix". Is it a Bisquik type mix? Looks like a yummy recipe!Editor's Note: Yes, this is like the Buttermilk Bisquick.
