Mexican Wedding Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 cups pecans, coarsely chopped

Directions:

Mix above ingredients, roll into balls about the size of walnuts. Bake at 375 degrees F for approx. 7-10 minutes, or until slightly browned. Immediately roll in powdered sugar. Let cool for 15 minutes, then roll them in powdered sugar again. These are a bit delicate. Watch them closely as they can burn easily.
