For all you knitters out there! I just know you'll enjoy this PDF which you can save and/or print for your own use.
I just came across this and it's an awesome archival from the Harvard College Library donated from the estate of Edwin Hale Abbot in 1931. It's the 1886 print of "The Ladies Book of Knitting" complete with patterns and a few photos and drawings. My favorite is the drawing for the 'drawers'.
Even if you're not a knitter be sure to scroll through it all and especially the library 'stamps' at the very end.
