We just celebrated my mom's 87th birthday in April and spring flowers for decorations were in order. My daughter made a beautiful silk flower arrangement for the centerpiece using items purchased at the dollar store. I made favors for each place setting using white flower pots with flower appliques on them purchased at the local dollar store and filled them with petunias, marigolds, and dianthus. The table looked so colorful and everyone got a favor to take home and later transplant.
