For a quick, cheap facial scrub: Take your cooled down coffee grounds and scrub your face gently with them. The grounds will slough off dead skin cells, and the caffeine will "wake up" your skin.

Also, for puffy eyes in the morning, put a little Preparation H on them. (This is a trick of the supermodels who party too hardy the night before a shoot.) It's greasy, so wash it off before putting your makeup on.

This is about Rocasea. I've had it for about 20 yrs now, but it's only under control because of prescription topical medication & a sunblock (at least 30 SPF) I use *every day*. I stil get redness, particularly across the nose & high on the cheeks, esp when under stress, eating spicy foods, or exposure to too much heat, but I can live with that.

At its worst for me, my flush was more purple than red, causing all sorts of innappropriate comments from complete strangers! I also had some facial bumps. But I haven't had this severity now for the last 10 or so yrs. Good luck!
