I just got this pup. He is 3 months old. Just wondering what breed he is and if he looks like a Siberian Husky or German Shepherd or maybe something else. What do you guys think? I have other photos I can send as well that show him entirely!

I am thinking Malamute, a touch of Akita, some Alaskan Husky, and a heart of a lion. If you would arrange a means to send this pup to my daughter so she could examine him, say over a few years, and then she could let you know :)

Teach him early, care for him every day, and he will return all of the effort ten-fold. I am sure we all know that. Tell your friends and family members he is a pure breed mutt. They are the best kind.

Hi, I think he most definitely has Husky in him mixed with something else, but I doubt it is a Shepard. He is adorable, though. Lisa

See and I see Akita. I think it all depends on what kind of dog you are used to seeing. If you see a big curl in the tail (or 2) then I would definitely say there is some Akita. Might be hard to tell until older. Either way, it's a cutie!

He looks like he might be part Keeshond. Just ask your vet when you take him in for his puppy vaccinations, to be neutered, etc.

Hello. Your dog is part Malamute and Siberian Husky. Pretty dog. Good luck with him.

Hi!
It could be a Norweigian Elkhound. My parents had one years ago. A pretty smart kind of dog. Easy to train also.
Hugs,
Marcia

I would say a husky/chow or a husky/german shepard... I use to have a puppy named BoJo and he was a chocolate lab/husky mix... he is so precious!!!

He's beautiful! Reminds me of a dog we had that was part
German Shepard and part Chow. He was easy to train tricks
and was a great dog. I would guess German Shepard and
Husky. Good luck with him. J. B.
