If you would arrange a means to send this pup to my daughter so she could examine him, say over a few years, and then she could let you know :) Teach him early, care for him every day, and he will return all of the effort ten-fold. I think it all depends on what kind of dog you are used to seeing. If you see a big curl in the tail (or 2) then I would definitely say there is some Akita. Might be hard to tell until older.
