Brooke (Jackobosador)

Brooke

Brooke

Do you have a mixed breed dog? Create some family fun by making up a name for your "designer breed." Brooke, our terrier mix, looks to us like a Jackabosador (part Jack Russell terrier, part Boston terrier, and part Labrador). Get the whole family involved in creating your doggie breed, and once you've decided on a name, make up a certificate so your dog has "papers." The dog will seem more like a family member, and the kids will see the special qualities of YOUR family pet. By Patty from Pennsylvania

Our little cutie, Minka, is a "Pomehauhau", 1/2 Pomeranian and 1/2 Long-Hair Chihauhau.

How about a Cheagle? 1/2 beagle - 1/2 chihuahua.

I once had a Shephard, Lab, and Husky, so she ended up a "SHELABSKY"...
I agree, the more mixed they are the more lovable they are. Give all your pets big hugs this week!

What a great idea! And your Brooke looks so attentive and "raring to go"!

What fun! Our dog, who is half husky and half something black (Labrador?), once looked a lot like your pup--her coloring's similar. (She's now more than 10 years old, though.)

For years, now, we've told people who asked that our pet is a "purebred Icehound" ... she'll do absolutely anything for an ice cube! She knows roughly 100 tricks, and she'll do every single one perfectly if she knows you're holding an ice cube she can crunch when she's finished.

So ... "Icehound" it is!

Oh, I could come up with some doozies of names for my four dogs! The easiest to identify is a dacheagle - dachshund/beagle - girl who is 13 and 1/2 years old but thinks she's still a teenager! The other three are part golden retriever/?, part bird dog/? and part great pyrenees/?. I get all of my dogs from the local humane society, who takes all strays regardless of race, creed or color! Thanks for sharing Brooke with us and God bless you,

Our "designer breed" is a Border Rat (Border Collie and Rat Terrier). Mixed breeds are the best in my book. Give Brooke hugs for me. She looks like an angel.
