Blueberry Crumble


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. of cardamon
  • 1 cup of pie crust mix
  • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cup fresh blueberries or 2 packages (10 oz.) frozen unsweetened blueberries
  • Ad
  • 1/4 tsp. orange rind
  • Dash of mace
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice


Place blueberries in buttered 1 1/4qt. shallow baking dish. Combine sugar, orange peel, mace and cardamon. Sprinkle sugar mixture and pie crust mix in alternate layers over blueberries. Continue until all is used. Dot with butter. Drizzle lemon juice and vanilla over all.

Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream if you so desire.
