Henry (Saint Bernard)
Henry (Saint Bernard)
Henry is a 5 year old Saint Bernard. Henry had cancer when he was six months old. After being treated, his owners decided they no longer wanted him, because he dug up the bushes! He is a wonderful dog!

Henry is shown here on a play date with a dog that was being babysat for a day. He loves the company he keeps with Dizzy (dog), George, and Jasmine (cats)
He also loves to go for walks!

Once when we were walking Henry, a car that was straining to get a better look at him, actually hit another car because they couldn't help but watch Henry!

One other thing that I should mention is Henry just loves children. There are always kids who try to ride him like a horse, and he doesn't mind a bit!

When I was six we got two Saint Bernards. Sir Andrew and Lady Gwendolyn they were a true joy. We rode Sir Andrew like a horse. He was very accepting to us riding him. They only lived to nine. Really sad. Large dogs tend to have hip problems. Which they did. Fortunately now they are able to treat large dogs better than when I was young. Hairy fur balls of joy! They slept with my brother and I always! They were so protective of us. Great watch dogs and they did whatever we wanted. Dress up and fetch. A really wonderful memory!

Henry sounds like my kind of man! Give him a big hug and kiss from Missy's, Lucky's and Miss Kitty's mom. Thanks for sharing, and God bless you.
