Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. burnt sugar flavoring
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:

Beat eggs; add sugar and beat again. Stir in syrup; then add butter, salt, vanilla, and burnt sugar; mix well. Add pecans and pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1-1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

Beat eggs well and to this add the melted margarine, syrup, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, flour, and salt; mix well. Add pecans and put into pie shell (unbaked); bake at 350 degrees F until filling is set, about 45 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark corn syrup (you can also use pancake syrup)
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 pie shell, unbaked

Directions

Bring the syrup, butter, vanilla, sugar, salt and pecans to a boil. Let boil for 2 minutes and pour the mixture slowly over the eggs, stirring vigorously, so the eggs will not cook. Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 cup pecan meats
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3 well beaten eggs
  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Directions

Combine sugar and eggs, beating until creamy; blend in salt, corn syrup and butter. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes. To test for doneness, pierce center of pie with a knife. If it comes out clean, pie is done. Cool and cut. Freezes well up to 60 days.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 unbaked pastry shell

Directions

In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and salt. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Pour into pastry shell. Cover edges with foil.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Remove foil; bake 10-15 minutes longer or until a knife inserted neat the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate leftovers.
