Using Tobacco to Get Rid of Worms in Pets

Has anyone used tobacco for worms? I thought that was a old recipe for treating worms, but not sure what type?

Hello,
First of all, do you know which type of worms your baby has? Please take a fecal sample to your Veterinarian so he/she can do a fecal float to determine which type there are.. ie: Tapeworms, hook worms, roundworms? I have worked for a Veterinarian for over 27 years and I know for a fact that tobacco can be fatal to a dog/cat. Your veterinarian will dispense the proper medication to your fur-baby to rid him of any parasites. Good luck

Ingesting less than one cigarette worth of tobacco can seriously sicken or kill your fur baby! Who knows how much nicotine is in chewing, pipe or cigar tobacco. Nicotine is highly poisonous! Nicotine is naturally in the tobacco leaves and even tobacco pickers have been known to become extremely sick or die because of the nicotine oils that seeped through their skin and into their blood stream. Smokers can also become poisoned by going on an increased smoking binge.

Please just purchase safe worming medication from your veterinarian.

I wouldn't suggest that.
