Restoring A Marble Table Top

I have a marble top table that has been outdoors in the sun and rain for more than 5 years. Now the table top is dull and I would like to restore it, since I now have a screened patio. I would appreciate it if somebody can give me any advice. Thanks.

I have a marble table used to the same conditions. I sanded it with a 1200 wet/dry paper and finished off with 1500 wet and dry paper. I then coated it with a film of Brie Wax. It's not too bad but I would like better. Any pointers?

There are brush-on or sponge-on products that will coat the marble to make it look shiny again. One is Marble Shine-N-Seal, made by Custom Building Products. I've used this on interior marble, and on dulled black trim on my stove. Apply a thin film and let it dry- don't rub or polish it!

Outdoors, I recently experimented (emphasis on "experiment"!) with concrete sealer on a marble mosaic sundial pedestal. So far, great: attractive glossy finish. Product: Concrete Cure 'n Seal, made by Sakrete.
