More Room in Your Recycling Bin

Make more room in your recycling bin! Step on your 2 litre plastic bottles to remove most of the air and then put the cap back on the bottle. You'll find it's easier to pack in everything else that you want to recycle!

Editor's Note: Many states now have a deposit on 2 liter bottles and smashing them may interfere with the bar code scan. Be sure you don't need to return them before recycling.

Both our city recycling and also the city curbside recycling programs require you to REMOVE any caps/lids as they contaminate the batches and are not recyclable. They can still be smashed though.

"collect trash earn ca$h" is a wonderful site. Earn cash for your school (possibly group too)

Instead of expending energy used to remake one product into another, they skip that process & use the item in the form it is when they buy it from you to make into something else. For instance the empty pop bottles are washed & filled with cleaning solution. It's a very interesting & fun website!

.02 -.03c on most items but cellphones will get you .25c!

I wish they had it for individuals ! They even pay the postage to ship things to them! I believe the minimum to ship is 100 items per, you can buy things from their online store. They have videos to watch of when they were on TV! Check it out!

I agree with Kaelle. The recycling place wants the caps OFF. Less work that way, anyway.
