- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup butter
Place all 3 ingredients in a skillet and cook until tender.
- 6 cups bread crumbs
- 3 cups chopped oysters - I use canned oysters
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk and oyster liquid
Add the first mixture to this mixture. Remove bay leaf and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

I want to make sure I understand. You add 1 3/4 cups milk AND all of the oyster liquid or...do you add enough milk to the oyster liquid to equal 1 3/4 cups?
