A pinch of salt and a little bit of cinnamon in your coffee grounds in the morning makes coffee special. It also takes the twang out of the coffee.

Source: I got this advice from a friend that cooks a lot. His wife has a deteriorating muscle disease, please pray for April.

Sounds interesting! I wonder if it will work after it's brewed so I don't waste any of it.

I tried this and it was good, I am a coffee drinker, and I had told my husband that the coffee don't taste that good and this was past a boil adviser in my area. I don't know if it had anything to do with the water in our city!!!

Properly made coffee doesn't have a "twang." That's a sign that your coffee maker is not brewing at the proper temperature for full extraction. Sour coffee occurs when the coffee is brewed at too low of a temp (typical with most autodrip machines on the American market). For truly good (and thrifty) coffee, get a one cup pourover brewer and use water from a kettle just off the boil. If you are a coffee snob, you can buy high quality unroasted beans cheaply for about $5-$6 per pound and roast them yourself with tools as simple as a heat gun, stainless steel bowl, and a wooden spoon.

Tried the salt bet never the cinnamon! Hubby always puts salt in the coffe when he makes it. Also, I surely said a prayer for April! When we pray, we can expect the answer!
