Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup of Whole Wheat Bread ( 3 slices) cubes
- 3/4 cup seedless raisins
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp of butter
Directions
Heat the milk and pour over the bread cubes. Add the eggs beaten with the sugar and butter cut in small pieces. Mix in raisins. Add 1 tsp of vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees F until pudding is firm. Serve with light cream or milk (opt.)
For those who are lactose intolerant, change the milk for So Nice original Soy Beverage.
For a different taste, add apples and instead of sugar, put in the same amount of honey.
