Providing Innovis Credit Bureau With Information?

Innovis wants more information, such as copy of DL and copy of a bill, email address, social security, and two phone numbers. Should I be concerned with giving all of this information to this silent credit bureau?

A "credit bureau"should have that info. If their asking for these things over the phone or by mail, I would send nothing. If your opening a new account in person with them then nothing seems out of line.

There are hundreds of companies out there that call themselves credit bureaus. A credit bureau is a private company (not a government agency) that records and sells information about you and your credit history to potential lenders, employers and even landlords. They are in business to make money, keep that in mind when you feel pressure to pay for and view your report from another agency that you have never heard of.

Gosh, do not give them your information. That scares me as I've never heard of them as a Credit reporting agency. Do not give any information to anyone unless you personally instigated the call and then even sometimes not then.

'Do not give any of your information' and report them to the proper authorities! And, as someone else mentioned, if they were truly legit like 'the big three', they would already have all this information! If it happens to be regarding a bill you owe to a small company using their (innovis) service to check your reports then tell that company to use one of 'the big three' instead!

I just did a Google search and McAfee has a huge red flag (stop) next to one of the innovis links and a yellow flag (caution) next to another link! Here's an interesting link regarding them that you should read (be patient if it takes a moment to load):
